Alhamdulillah, all thanks to Allah, I finally received the book sent by sister Lenny last Wednesday. I am sorry that I could not reply earlier, but, when I opened the box, I truly became speechless when I saw the result of all our efforts. A real pretty book; in-and-out.

It is still clear in my mind, few months ago, when the first time I received the phone call from sister Ria. She strongly against the idea to freeze the project. She insisted that the project must go on, “the book must be printed”, she said. At that time, I could only be the good listener to all of her ideas to try all possibilities. With my limitation, I could not provide much help in realizing the effort to print this book, but deep in my heart, I always pray for her and for other sisters that work hard on this project. I did believe, though, that every effort based on good intention will end with a success. Thanks to all dear sisters that have worked together and involved in the process of printing and distributing the books.

When my husband came home from his office, he saw the book and immediately open one of them. He open page by page and said, “It is really good”. The next morning, when he was in front of the computer, apparently he was sending four e-mails to his colleagues to promote the books. All four responded within minutes saying that they will buy, including the Chairman of the Dept. Of Petroleum Engineering, The University of Tulsa, and another friend from Houston . He likes Indonesian food very much, as he frequently traveled to variouos places in Indonesia . He was impressed with the quality of the book (especially the colorful pictures) and surely he will try some of them (as he does like to cook).

Now, five days after receiving the 33 books, there are only 13 left. With help from Allah, I am sure that all books will be gone. Alhamdulillah.

Subhanallah, two thumbs up for Imsis's cookbook commitee. The book is so professional looking. Everything looks great, the pictures, the receipes and the lay out. I couldn't imagine how hard you've worked for this. May Allah reward all the effort to make this a dream come true!!

Saya ini orang nya paling rajin membeli buku masak kalau lagi ke Indonesia...semua sih biasa-biasa aja kesannya..., tapi buku masak karya sisters imsis ini Masya Allah...bener-bener luar biasa deh...kumpliiiiitt...dan pas banget lah untuk kebutuhan kita (khususnya saya..) yang tinggal jauh dari tanah air.

Pokoknya...peristiwa apapun,...keadaan apapun ..kalau kita ingin membahagiakan orang-orang tercinta di sekitar kita....semuanya bisa dengan mudah tinggal nyontek di buku canggih ini. Disajikan dengan begitu menarik, lengkap, mudah di ikuti dan di sertai tips-tips berguna. Masya..Allah saya..pokoknya speechless!!

Kesan pertama begitu melihat cookbook ini adalah bangga dan terharu. Begitu melihat halaman demi halaman, photonya cantik dan menarik (menarik untuk dicoba). Subhanallah saya seperti mendapat harta karun, bagaimana tidak, resep-resepnya benar-benar resep yang yang saya cari selama ini .Terkadang kalo kita searching di internet tidak jarang hasilnya tidak sesuai dengan yang kita harapkan, mudah-mudahan cookbook ini apalagi dicoba berkali-kali oleh team resep hasilnya akan memuaskan semua pihak:).

Alhamdulillah dengan adanya CookBook ini , tidak perlu bingung lagi mau masak apa.

"CookBook IMSIS , Memasak menjadi lebih mudah".

Tanpa sadar komentar pertama adalah: "wah, sadis!". Kata itu keluar saking kagetnya melihat penampilan buku resep yang di luar dugaan (beyod expectation). Kenapa? Lho, ibu-ibu yg tinggalnya berjauhan antar negara bagian, bisa membuat buku resep (notes:mengumpulkan resep, meng-uji coba berkali-kali, ngambil foto puluhan kali, meng-inggriskan, sampai lay-out!!!) kayak gini?! Sadis bukan, cara kerjanya?! Pokoknya lebih bagus dari buku resep Femina/Kartini deh!!

Tapi memang yang saya maksud adalah:"SUBHANALLAH!!" (dan saya ucapkan juga tentunya)

Suami saya juga sampai terkagum-kagum. Katanya: "I like the idea of putting the glossary". Memudahkan pembaca yang tidak familiar dengan bahan-bahan asli. Brilliant!

Semoga sukses dengan pemasarannya ya..... Four Thumbs-Ups deh!!

Kerja tim cookbook luar biasa karena menghasilkan cookbook yg hasilnya sangat bagus. Seperti tata letak, dekorasi, perpaduan warna yg tidak menonton,, variasi piring yang berbeda setiap halnya, dan foto yang sangat professional walaupun dari kamera digital yang pocket tapi menghasilkan foto yg sangat menakjubkan padahal hanya mengandalkan sinar matahari. Makanan yg sdh dicoba sayur asem, balado terong yang rasanya sesuai dengan selera.

Keragaman makanan yang banyak, variasi yang lain seperti telur saus balado, ayam tuturaga,, resepnya lain dari internet. Menjadi panduan untuk anak dan keluarga dalam memilih menu harian. Bangga untuk diberikan sebagai hadiah.

Alhamdulillah, after days of anxiously waiting for the book to come, finally it's here. I rushed my self to open the parcel. Subhanallah, it's not just a cook book. It's a piece of art. As I turn the page over, I feel like watching the movie of how the book was crafted. Many of mouth watering recipes are presented. The pictures are so enticing. To be honest, I feel like want to lick the gravy...

Insha Allah, it's worth every single penny that you spent.

Empat jempol buat Tim Cookbook IMSIS dan juga IMSIS.
Buku yang sangat bagus tidak hanya buat di rumah, tetapi juga buat "kado" bagi teman-teman kita baik orang Indonesia maupun non-Indonesia karena di tulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Terkadang kita kan punya temen yang kita undang atau kita kirimi masakan kita, suka tanya-tanya apa resepnya, nah.... daripada repot-repot nulis resep.... langsung saja kasih ini buku.

The Journey

Today I have received the cookbook. When I opened the book for the first time I was very touched. As one of the team members, I know the process how this book was created. In the beginning we were struggling to create the cookbook. The journey was very long and tiring, but with efforts, strengths, supports, and the prayer from all sisters and brothers, we finally are able to send the book to the customers. Alhamdullilah.

The books were created by the ordinary Mom or stay home Mom. People may think this was the work of a professional, indeed all of us worked professionally.

The book is very good and pretty. The book would make a good gift for friends, school teachers, colleagues, neighbors, mother-in-laws, parents, or for our kids when they are older.
